Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers to the most common questions about DownCount.

What is DownCount?

DownCount is a poker dealer income tracker built for real casino workflows. Log your downs, tips/tokes, hourly and tournament pay in seconds—then instantly see $/down, $/hour, per-room totals, monthly/YTD trends, and one-tap CSV exports for taxes. It’s mobile-first, private, and dealer-native—no bending a generic tip app.

Who is it for?

Professional and part‑time poker dealers who want accurate, private tracking of income from cash games and tournaments.

How do I get started?

Create a free account, then add your first shift with date, room, hours, downs, and cash tokes. You can also try a fully loaded demo first.

Is DownCount really free?

Yes. DownCount is free for every dealer. All features are unlocked automatically and there are no paid plans or subscriptions to manage.

What data do I log per shift?

Date, room, hours, downs, and cash tokes by default. You can choose to include or exclude hourly and tournament income in your snapshot view.

What stats can I see?

Totals by day, month, and year; $/hour; $/down; room breakdowns; and trends that help you understand where you earn the most.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your data is private to your account. We do not sell your data. You can export or delete it any time (data export/delete features are coming soon).

Does it work on mobile?

Absolutely. The app is designed mobile‑first so you can log downs and cashouts quickly between tables.

Can I track only cash tokes?

Yes. Turn on Cash‑Only mode in Settings to focus your snapshot on cash tokes while hiding hourly and tournament figures.

Can I try it without creating an account?

Yes. Use the Try Demo option on the homepage to explore a sample account with 10 years of data.
